Well it’s about time. It’s been since May, but I finally finished editing photos from South Dakota. This was a week long trip traveling across South Dakota to the Badlands where spent most of our time. I separated photos into 4 different galleries:  Badlands National Park, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore National Monument, and All the rest. Hope everyone enjoys them.

It’s summer time in Susie’s garden. The flowers are in full bloom glistening in the morning sun. the birds are chirping, the humming birds are humming, and the wildlife is hiding from the heat.

Despite using Deet, I was still getting bitten by flies. In between swatting I was still able to keep my cool and get a few shots from the garden before being forced indoors. Of course Susie doesn’t have air conditioning, so inside it was hot, but no flies. I hope you like.

Spring is always a great time to visit Nerstrand Big Woods State Park to see the wildflowers. Of course there is also the waterfalls on Prairie Creek. It was a nice little stroll from the parking lot to the river, with plenty of flowers along the way

After a long hard look, I decided I didn’t update this blog, most probably because I didn’t like the way it looked and worked. Since my last posts I started selling photos on Zenfolio, which enables me to host the pictures there and access them from here. This was a wonderful trip to Alaska for two weeks in early July 2008. There was a lot to see and probably could have spent a whole month there and still not seen it all. Unfortunately it was cloudy for most of our trip, but we made the best of it. I was able to shoot 2500 pictures, but it is going to take a while to get them all edited. Here’s what I have done so far, check back occasionally for more updates to this posting.
