Swimming

We spent another weekend at Grandmas. That is a long drive and I made sure I let mommy and daddy know how I felt. I was a lot nicer on the way back, way too tired to stay awake on the ride home. I guess they finally found out how to wear me out.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the beach on Lake superior and played fetch with me and a stick. One time Daddy threw it too far and I had to swim to get it. They were so proud of me. Here are a few pictures Daddy shot of me and my stick…

I had a lot of fun, but it’s good to be back home.

Grandma Camp

Adventure time. I went to Grandma camp again this year for a couple of weeks. I did my usual whining and barking, just to keep Grandma and Auntie Lee on their toes. It was nice to hang out outside when Grandma was home, but I do miss getting the attention from mom & dad, and nobody throws the ball like daddy does.

I think Grandma is on to me. She wouldn’t get up when I wanted to get up and made me stay in my kennel until 7:30, instead of letting me out on my 6am alarm. Sometimes I think this whole camp thing is overrated.

Grandma likes to go for walks, and she takes me with. I think she is trying to wear me out. Daddy tries that too, but Bandito don’t play that game, I save some energy to play once I get home. That will teach them.

I am finally home. I like going to Grandmas, but I really like the security of being home. Here are a few pics after I got back…

Playdate with Cousin Daisy

Hi everybody.

I just had a playdate with my cousin Daisy. Daddy tried to take pictures but I was so excited I couldn’t  stand still so all my shots are blurry, but he got some great shots of Daisy though. I also got to meet my other cousin Garbo, she was much bigger than me, not someone I wanted to mess around with.

Daddy is ignoring me again. He has been working on our kitchen, Mommy blocked me out so I couldn’t see what he was doing, not that I would know. We attached a picture of “our” new backsplash.

Happy Birthday (to me)

Hi Everyone.

If you didn’t figure it out by the title, it’s my Birthday, and I am 3 years old. That’s 21 in dog years, that means it is time for me to have my first beer. Daddy….Get me a beer while your up!

Daddy says now I have to start acting my age, well I’m three years old, how does he think I should act. Wish I could go see how he acted when he was three and see how much whining he did.

We started celebrating my Birthday week a little early this year, my real birthday is Monday, but we started on Saturday, that means the rest of the week I get pampered. I can sleep all day, get waited on, and whine to my hearts content. On Saturday we had a chicken dinner, and I love chicken! Then we had ice cream, and I love ice cream. I also got to open my gift, it’s a magical ball, it make funny sounds when I play with it, and when I walk away it calls me back to it, it’s loads of fun. Check out the action shots below.

I had a good Christmas, We went and visited Grandma up north, everyone came to celebrate and the I got to play with the kids. We came home and there were big piles of snow in our front yard to play in, but then it got too cold to play outside. I think I upset mommy and daddy, we would go outside to go potty, and I would get too cold before I did my business. They don’t seem to understand that I have to find just the right spot before I can go. Mommy and Daddy were home from work for the whole week and I had plenty of time to get on there nerves
